HFC Plaza, located in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district brings together both new and established companies engaged in all aspects of the financial industry, including education and research. Holland Financial Centre (HFC) has created HFC Plaza to help and support new financial companies by providing them with affordable, furnished office space, IT services and other necessary facilities.

HFC Plaza’s objective is to bring education, knowledge, innovation, and new companies together to create a biotope of innovation and entrepreneurship for the financial industry.

It also encourages interaction between entrepreneurs, potential financiers and partners. The diversity of HFC Plaza’s residents ensures an optimum mix of products and services and thereby creates a financial community of knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship.

HFC Plaza is an initiative of Holland Financial Centre, a joint initiative set up by a number of parties representing a broad spectrum of interests in the financial industry. Participants include banks, insurers, brokers, pension funds and asset managers, as well as auditors, law firms, and the government.

HFC Plaza is located on the top floor of Symphony Tower, a top location right in the heart of Amsterdam’s financial centre. Both new and established companies can rent modern, high quality office space with practical durable furnishings for a relatively low price. The excellent infrastructure of the Zuidas district ensures that HFC Plaza is easily accessible by car and public transport.

HFC Plaza has a central reception area for receiving visitors, a cloakroom, a pantry and a meeting room built to its own specifications. Additional services such as meeting rooms, administrative support, and IT services are also available on request. The parking garage under the building gives you, your staff and your visitors quick, easy access to your office.

In addition to the financial industry, HFC Plaza also focuses on non-governmental organisations (NGOs), small and medium sized organisations and organisations from abroad that want to set up a branch office in the financial heart of the Netherlands.

The Symphony building is an architectural project of international standing. It has a total office space of 35,000 square metres, spread over 27 floors. HFC Plaza occupies the top two floors of the building.

The NS train station Amsterdam Zuid, just a few minutes walking distance from Symphony building, offers high speed train and metro connections as well as a fast connection to Schiphol airport. HFC Plaza offers high-quality, conveniently furnished office space that meets all current health and safety requirements in the Netherlands. Your rent includes facilities such as climate control, maintenance, security, sanitary facilities, and lift.

Start-up companies at HFC Plaza can make use of a central reception area for visitors, telephony and post services, refreshment, catering and cleaning services. They can also request administrative support, and rent meeting rooms in HFC Plaza at a reduced rate. Meetings rooms provide audio-visual equipment and conference facilities, including video and teleconferencing linkups.

HFC provides top-quality IT services, including security, management and maintenance, for all types of telecommunication and data exchange. Depending on your wishes and requirements, IT services are available for a fee. SET Service Group is responsible for managing the internal network and telephony. Office residents can also connect to an external server via SET Service Group, and order hardware through them.

All residents of Symphony Tower can use the building’s extensive restaurant facilities, which include a brasserie, an espresso and cocktail bar, and a self-service restaurant. These venues provide an excellent setting for informal gatherings, business meetings or a quick snack.

The large parking garage under the building ensures that you and your employees and visitors have quick, easy access to your office. It is also possible to rent a permanent parking space in the garage.

Rental prices in HFC Plaza are lower than the market average for this type of all-in office space with additional services and facilities. Contributions from financial market parties and the government make it possible for HFC Plaza to charge a reduced rate for its services. Economies of scale and synergy benefits also help to keep prices lower.

Rental agreements are valid for a period of 1, 2 or 3 years. The rental price per workstation is between €500 and €750 a month, and an incentive discount based on the length of the rental agreement is also available.
